The professional skill improvement plan is a competition project set up by the university to improve undergraduates' professional interest, mobilize their learning enthusiasm, consolidate professional theoretical knowledge and improve professional skills. It is funded by the special fund of the University.
(1) Organization and management
The competition is sponsored by the academic affairs office and undertaken by each college. Each undertaking unit shall establish a project competition organization committee to be responsible for the specific organization of the competition. The whole college students choose to participate in the competition in the form of individuals or groups.
(2) Project declaration
The competition project shall be easy to carry out and implement with certain continuity. The professional project shall highlight the discipline or professional characteristics, combine with the production practice as much as possible, and attract the participation of enterprises as much as possible; Public projects should focus on improving students' comprehensive ability and have a wide range of participation; If there are corresponding provincial and above education departments or national industry associations and societies to compete, they shall be in line with relevant competitions. In principle, the number of competition items declared by each college shall not exceed the number of majors. The college is encouraged to carry out comprehensive projects according to discipline (specialty) categories.
(3) Project implementation
The project must be completed before the first ten days of December of that year. If the project is not completed within the specified time, the application qualification of the project for the next year shall be suspended. In order to ensure the quality of the competition, the minimum and maximum restrictions on the number of participants are set according to the type of projects. The number of applicants can be limited according to the resources of each project within the specified range.
(4) Fund management
The University subsidizes the approved projects, implements the leadership responsibility system of the teaching college, earmarks the funds for special purposes, and makes overall planning within the college. Upon the expiration of the project, the remaining funds will be recovered.
