In order to improve the fire-fighting awareness of college students and Ya'an citizens and popularize fire-fighting knowledge, on November 27, the volunteer work department of the Youth League Committee of the College of water resources and hydropower organized 10 students to publicize fire-fighting knowledge inside and outside the school to strengthen residents' fire-fighting awareness.
At the beginning of the activity, many students in the school came to ask about fire safety, and volunteers answered the fire problems raised by students one by one. At the same time, volunteers sent the leaflets to the students who come to consult. A student who came to exchange said: this volunteer activity is very good, which has greatly deepened their dormitory fire safety awareness The time was not over, but the leaflet was finished for the students. A volunteer said with emotion: "the students' awareness of fire protection is particularly strong." Volunteers outside the school chose children and the elderly as the main targets. In the publicity process, some elderly people are illiterate and have poor hearing. Volunteers will patiently squat down and explain fire-fighting knowledge to them in detail until the elderly fully understand. During the interpretation, the volunteers met an old woman who knew more about fire safety. According to the volunteers, the old man's son is a firefighter. Every time his son goes to the police, the old man is very worried. A volunteer sighed to her grandmother with emotion that she would take part in more publicity activities in the future, so that fire safety knowledge should be implemented into people's lives, so as to reduce the probability of fire.
This activity makes the students and Ya'an citizens have a deeper awareness of fire safety. This activity also creates an atmosphere of increasing national desire for fire knowledge, improves the depth and breadth of national understanding of fire knowledge, and reduces the possibility of fire in daily life. At the same time, it also reminds us that we should be grateful to firefighters.
