The innovation training program for college students aims to cultivate students' innovative thinking and innovative practical ability. The undergraduate team will independently select topics, design, experiment and manage, and carry out scientific experiments, innovative design or investigation and research under the guidance of tutors.
(1) Organization and management
The innovation training program for college students is divided into national level, provincial level, school level and college level. Among them, national, provincial and school level projects are managed by the University, and college level projects are managed by the college.
(2) Application and review
Apply once a year. Non-graduating students apply in the form of a team. Each student can only participate in one research project. The scope of the project is appropriate, the goal is clear, the content is distinctive, innovative and exploratory. Students need to analyze the feasibility of the research scheme and technical route. The supervisor of the project team shall have a doctor's degree or vice senior or above, and the discipline direction shall be consistent with the project. The college is responsible for the preliminary examination of the applied projects and recommending the school level projects according to the number of indicators in the current year. The university organizes experts to review the recommended projects of the college and determine the provincial recommended projects. The college can set up college level projects according to the actual situation.
(3) Project implementation
After the project approved, the members of the project team shall work according to the project plan. In principle, the members of the project team and the research content cannot be changed. If cannot but to change due to special reasons, it is necessary to fill in the change application form, which shall be signed and sealed by the project leader, tutor and leaders of the school in charge, and submitted to the academic Affairs Office for review before adjustment. During the implementation of the project, the tutor is responsible for the guidance, supervision and management of the project, guiding students to carry out research-based learning, clarifying research topics and research contents, establishing research focus and analysis methods, formulating experimental scheme and technical route, carrying out experimental operation, analyzing and processing data, writing research summary report, etc. The implementation time of the project is 1-2 years, which must be completed before the graduation of the project leader.
(4) Project conclusion
After the completion of the project, the project leader enters the educational administration management system to fill in the summary form and project results, and submit the conclusion materials to the college where the project leader belongs. The school will review the final materials of the preliminary review project, and the school will organize the final review.
(5) Fund management
The university will give certain financial support to national, provincial and school level projects. The finance department shall set up a special account, which shall be jointly managed by the project leader and the tutor, and the special fund shall be used for special purpose. After the completion of the project, the remaining funds will be recovered.
